If you have your own land, or are currently looking for land (we can help with that, too!) on which to build, we have a “build on your own land” process.
First, we visit and evaluate the land and answer a few questions:
- Is the property developed or undeveloped?
- How is access?
- Public water and sewer or well and septic?
- Electrical service conditions?
- Does it appear to be a “buildable” lot?
Once the land is determined to be a good fit for new construction, a floor plan/home design is selected from our extensive inventory based on the family’s “dream” and budget. Regarding the financing portion of the process, it is really no different than building in one of our own neighborhoods. Working with our lender, once financing is fully in place, construction begins. Most homes are completed within 4 to 5 months.
